...the US Army’s Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany by providing Role Players, often referred to as COBs (Civilians on the Battlefield). JMRC’s mission is to train units and multinational partners to succeed in operations around the world.
The work of a COB...
...is to act as if you are in a battlefield or disaster situation. At the beginning of a rotation, you will understand the type of scenario being represented in the realistic simulation. You will be provided a scenario script, but will be required also to improv in your role as you react to the soldier trainees’ comments, questions, and actions. Having a grasp on the goals of the training, you will be able to interact appropriately with the soldier trainees.
Rotations will last...
...22-28 days. It is mandatory you stay on base during the entire time (barring any medical emergencies). You will be required to work 8+ hours/day. Recreational activities will be available during the down time.
We are currently looking for...
...both Full-Time and Part-Time COBs. Full-time COBs would be required to work about 10 rotations/year – from set-up to clean-up. Part-Time COBs are able to choose which rotations they are available to work and will assist in set-up and clean-up in a limited manner.
